I love that the surround speakers does not require a device in between to have surround sound. The system is completely wireless. Sounds is pretty good overall system needs to do better with voice dialogues in movies and more low bass thumping.

The unit is great. Sounds great. Movies and TV shows alike sound great. Easy to set up and use. The voice clarity feature works well. We normally would have to listen to the TV at volume 40 setting. Now we can listen with a volume setting of 20 or less. The only rub with the unit is the App. The app does not connect to the unit easily. When you call support they tell you reboot everything. The app is important if you want to calibrate the unit to the room you are in. However once you do that you really never need the app again The remote works well with a bit of a learning curve.

One would think connecting it to an LG tv is smooth but one would be wrong. Worst yet one of the surround speakers is not pairing with the sound-bar it says red and the Soundbarb app thinks it is connected. I tried for so many hours I think the whole thing is going back to Best Buy and I am reconsidering my decision to keep lo my electronics with LG.

Ive owned this speaker system for 9 months. Ive used multiple sources and watched numerous movies and shows. All I can say is this thing is awful. The sounds is very unbalanced. Watching movies the sound sound over powers the voice. Music is unbearable bassy muffled. No clarity whatsoever. ATMOS is a joke the up firing speakers dont see to do anything Dolby 5.1 sounds better than ATMOS. No matter what settings I use I can not get good sound out of this thing. Calibration just seems to boost the bass to an unbearable level. Just dont do it. LG should be ashamed of this product especially since its suppose to be the flagship sound bar.

Picked up and set up the sound bar set to compliment my G2 77 OLED. Update and set up was a breeze. Its easier than setting up a iphone. Big kudos there. Overall the system sounds great but keep getting loud popping sounds from both rear speakers and the subwoofer.

Ive had this for a month and a half now and it sounds absolutely amazing Dialogue is nice and clear and the surround performance is very immersive and huge sounding and the subwoofer really gets going nicely. Atmos or DTS:X the top-firing speakers really add a lot creating a full soundstage. The 4K pass through works beautifully too Paired with my C2 movie nights are a thing of beauty.

This Review is for LG S95QR soundbar Let me divide my review in a few parts: Device and pricing: Pros: - Build quality is very nice - Design is elegant - Very clear sound very loud and surround is very good for regular movie / music listening - Surround mode works for music as well and really nice addition but it makes Bass go lower - Good it all comes in one package and includes rear and subwoofer 9no separate purchase - Easy and nice connectivity with LG C1 OLED - There is an app to set some settings - Rear speakers and Subwoofer are true wireless Power only - Works really nice with Airplay and android streaming without a need to have TV turned ON Cons: - Price is a little high - Doesnt have on screen display TV - Small screen on the unit is so fast you have to act so fast or it goes back to show the input - Worst part is the subwoofer it is so low but I believe that is a software setting issue comparing to my cheapest LG sound bar that I have it has less BASS - In setting SW goes from -15 to +6 Bass from -5 to +5 not sure if that should be like this - There is no way to factory reset the unit - There is no good documentation on how to setup these settings - Customer support was unable to provide any help setting the bass gain service menu - Im sure with adjusting some setting in secret service menu this issue will be resolved but no luck getting help from support - Reviews have some issues - Many bad video reviews that I wish I listened to - Mixed reviews from other products on the page makes it harder to see the correct ones - I really dont want to ship pay for shipping my device to repair my brand new device and I dont believe there is a physical issue with that just find a way to set the correct setting will fix the issue - Maybe need a new frame ware update will be necessary to support better SW and ability to reset factory - Please Note that Non of these suggestions are related and work and many reviews show the same thing i.e. change input change TV change music change cables etc

We bought the S95QR to go with our new LG 77 G2 OLED TV. Both devices look and sound great. When using them with our Apple TV the TV after having been turned off over night will have to have the audio switched back from the internal speakers to the EARC connected sound bar. This is very annoying.

I had a 7.1 surround system with a receiver and all the speakers. I just moved to florida and saw the LG Soundbar on sale. I hadnt hooked up my other system so thought I would see if the Soundbar was any good. Wow I couldnt believe the sounds coming from this system and around me. Its incredible Sounds is very crisp and surrounds you on movies. Great for music too Ive owed a few sound bars over the years but none could compare to separate system components but this one is really good. I would have to upgrade quite a few things to get this sort of sound from my system. The only problem I have is that the Soundbar for music playing could be a little louder lol

Bought this 6 months ago. Was looking for the highest end Dolby Atmos sound bar. Wanted either the magic of upward firing speakers or to find out if it was a gimmick. The speakers sound awesome. The sounds from all speakers up side front and all rear are very well integrated. All I can tell when Im listening is that the sound is surround and not that its necessarily coming from a certain speaker.

I bought this as my first high end sound bar.it sounds amazing and is immersive. It offers tons of support for all the latest enhancements. What I dont like is the lack of an on-screen menu. Having to deal with the app is not easy as it is difficult to connect the first time and once it is connected it doesnt stay connected for future uses. It shouldnt be happening for paying such a premium price. LG you can do better Please fix this app connectivity issue and if able to add an on-screen menu update. You make the best tvs with OLED this soundbar can lead the pack if given better functionality and support without having to buy a new one next year with upgrade.

A Real Movie Theatre Experience

Ive owned a number of surround sound systems in my life. Many of them were a number of speakers connected to a stereo receiver and while those were adequate they lacked something. The next upgrade was to an LG SK9C 5.1 system with optional rear surround speakers. Thsi was even better but it still lacked the balance for movies that you wanted the robust 3D sound for. So being in the market for a new system for another TV I came across ths S95QR. O. M. G Absolutely blown away by the update in this over the SK9C system. While I know its not quite the same thing the balance out of the box was amazing. So much so that I had to willingly sit through the opening salvo of Saving Private Ryans opening Normandy invasion to compare both systems. This thing made my houses foundation shudder. Now Im not cheap by any means and believe you get what you pay for but this system was far from cheap. But holy crap I got what I paid for. If you want a theatre grade sound system with a small enough footprint to leave you room for a couch and some chairs this will blow you away. Definitely an upgrade and worth every penny.

Cant connect to WiFi. The craftmanship is so-so

I have been waiting for this sound bar for 6 months. But once I got it I found it almost impossible to connect it to WiFi to access the configuration and settings. The app is terrible it feels like a college student project. The manual provides minimum info and there is no on-screen or other way to see any settings or messages. I spent more than 8 hours trying all the possible settings in the soundbar and my network. Finally got it to connect after 3 hrs and once I started going through options and checking on firmware updates it got disconnected and I could not connect it back again. I have 16+ years of experience connecting all different smart WiFi gadgets have hundreds of those but this... All I can say is LG failed here on such a simple step. Then I read on the reviews sites almost everyone had this problem. Its a shame. But craftsmanship also doesnt feel premium maybe for a $500 soundbar - it would be okay.

I no longer watch movies because now I am in the movie with 360 sound you really feel like you are there experiencing the movie like its real life. I am spending a lot of time looking back thinking someone is behind me in my house to find its apart of the movie so thats something that takes some getting used to. I really like the ease of set up and at first I was worried how I was going to get the speakers to sync together but they did it straight out of the box. The design and build quality is awesome and looks cool underneath my tv. The sounds are phenomenal and Dolby Atmos blows me away I love the object tracking that really makes movies 1000 times better. I would say they really hit it out of the park with this live rich surround sound speakers. Movies are a brilliant way to escape reality and Dolby Atmos is an immersive experience to make the movie a reality.

I needed a sound system that complements my home theater setup with 150 screen and LG laser projector. I was prefering LG only and S95QR completely win me over by its sound quality and its wireless speakers which is extremely efficient. This home theater comes with a sound bar 2 satellite speakers and 1 woofer speakers. Sound bar and satellite speakers have upward sound firing speakers as part of dolby atmos configuration hence making it 9.1 ch. Dolby Atmos is amazing new technology that creates amazing surround sound effect with compatible content there are bunch on youtube to enjoy experiencing it. This home theater also supports Dolby vision and works with google alexa and apple airplay. Just hookup HDMI ARC to TV or projector and connect all speakers to power thats it no need to connect any other wires they are wirelessly connected to each other. It also supports Bluetooth to connect tv or projector instead of HDMI cable. One thing I want to mention which is important and its that you need to setup speakers using app LG Sound Bar as default configuration lacks deep bass but once I configure it using the official LG app it is amazing. It gets really loud and sound is very crisp with punchy and deep bass. I am very happy with the product and I definitely recomend this to my friends.

My husband and his tech. He sets up and shows me the LG S95QR soundbar he set up in our den and says I need to listen and give my review. I will be completely honest in that I am happy listening through a TV speaker. He wanted me to listen with both music and a movie to get an overall feel for the sound. For music he had me listen to The Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath by Lovebites his favorite song. And then he played clips of one of his favorite movies Captain Marvel. We have a full Atmos home theater setup in our living room and I wasnt expecting a soundbar to sound like a full system but it gave me a nice reference point for comparison. Well at the end of it all all I could say was Holy Cow First the song. The clarity was amazing as I could hear each instrument so clearly. The sound filled the room. The drumming the guitar solos the voice - all just sounded so good. I then went to the movie and then was having high expectations based on the music. I was not disappointed. I thought the bass was pretty good for a soundbar and brought impact to the action scenes. The voices were clear and the Atmos really enveloped me. Not everyone has the room for a full-on system with a receiver sub speakers etc. Four pieces here - the soundbar the sub and rear surrounds which were easy to mount to the wall. If actually cleaned up the den as we took out a 5.1 system to gain some room and truthfully this soundbar sounded as good as what it replaced. I would easily recommend this soundbar.

I was excited to get LGs flagship soundbar for 2022 the 810W 9.1.5 S95QR. Its a complete set with sound bar sub woofer and rear surrounds. You can see full specs on LGs website. LG lists key features as: Meridian audio Atmos DTS:X with upfiring front including center and rear height speakers high res audio 24bit/96 kHz HDMI passthrough for 4K Dolby Vision HDR10 WOWCAST ready. There are 17 total speakers with the set. Step #1 was to unbox the soundbar. I was a little surprised about the plastic feel. The build is solid but the perception was less than premium. The soundbar fit nicely under my 75 TV. LG states best match is 55-65. I like the design of the rear speakers. They arent flat but instead the fronts are angled out for more dispersion and the upfiring speaker is angled slightly forward. The sub is tall/narrow with a front port and side firing speaker. At 7.9 wide it can easily find a home. In addition to the speakers and power cords for each which I feel should be longer in the box is a remote wall brackets HDMI cable and 2xAA batteries. I set it up to couple with my LG 75QNED99UPA TV. Using the LG Sound Bar app it was easy to get the S95QR up and running. The speakers connected to each other automatically. Whats next was the all-important test of its sound. I chose to use apps directly from the TV as cable always seems to have some degradation of sound. I watched clips from several movies I had seen that were all Atmos from Disney Prime HBO Max and Netflix. I also listened to some music videos off YouTube. My test room has a full Atmos setup with receiver so I felt this would be a good comparison. I never would expect a soundbar to be as good as a component setup. I was more than pleasantly surprised at how immersive the sound is when watching movies. It can crank up loud. The sub performed well with some decent punch. I did feel the upfiring center channel does provide better overall speech performance than front firing. The rears enveloped sound from behind and I did hear the Atmos upfiring sound bouncing off the ceiling. The soundbar handled music well too. In general I found the S95QR to be sonically clean and tight with no distortion. Voices were clear bass had oomph and all the various sounds could be distinguished. I would definitely recommend this soundbar. Its ready out of the box with the sub and rears. The design enhances the overall sound.

Best Sound Bar I have owned

In my honest opinion this Sound bar took me by surprise. It was extremely easy to setup as it tells you the order to connect the power to each of the speakers. It took me longer to install the wall mounts then it did to plug in the cables and calibrate the speakers. When I first turned it on I thought something was wrong because the surround sound was so natural. I was used to systems that we overly loud with the surround sound. This was not the case it was not until I turned on a film with Atmos and walked around the room that I could see that the sound was perfectly mimicking the location of where the sound was originating on the film. Family loves it especially my wife since the sound gets contained to the room it is in and I no longer have to turn up the volume just to hear the voices.

Replaces the average home theater package

This soundbar system is large mostly because of the length of the soundbar - over 47 inches. The lower portion of the box contains the subwoofer two surrounds and a third box with all the cables and brackets. It all fits into the box nicely and is well protected. Unvboxing: the subwoofer is big you know you are going to get some bass out of this. All components feel very well built and very sturdy the soundbar and the other three speakers fill built. No noticeable flex in any of the speakers. Follow the directions power up surrounds then the sub then apply power to the bar and it will connect to the sub there are no power buttons on the other 3 speakers just plug them in and go. And no speaker wires to run. You need an HDMI or optical cable 4 power outlets and thats it. Everything connected instantly connected to my LG OLED via HDMI/ARC the set instantly found the soundbar. I switched over to external speaker and that was it. It automatically switched to AI Sound Pro on the soundbar and everything sounded great. Performance: Turned on a brand-new unnamed Viking movie to test out the new sound WOW The surrounds add so much to the movie-watching experience this is a whole new level. I was literally scared a few times by arrows flying by they were so loud and surprising but in a good way. Then lets put on a sci-fi movie ATMOS really can make a difference how about action? Motorcycle chases gunshots explosions and ambient sounds everything is so much easier to hear. My spouse has a problem hearing some things not with this setup she says its so much easier to hear dialog and background noises and this isnt while using the clearvoice settings. There is also a Cinema option now personal preference comes into this but we really prefer the AI Sound setting the most. Having a previous ATMOS system before this it was much cheaper to use this setup than building a whole brand-new system. Anything short of a dedicated theater room I think this system will fill the bill at a lower cost. The sound quality is great and it will get VERY loud. The remote is fully functional but once connected to an LG TV I never needed it. Is this Soundbar worth the price tag? In this reviewers opinion compared to what you would need to spend to replicate the full room ATMOS experience. Quality durability appearance ease of setup and sound quality all the boxes are checked. Price can be high but compare it to what you will be replacing.

Atmos and Sound Quality improved

I was not expecting much from bar as it was connected to an old OLED B7A / I had the SN11RG and was highly disappointed in that bar. I have now set the bar up and impressed with cinema Mode/ I know others were not but to be fair the bar just came out and I am sure firmware updates will be coming since the RG they have done so many in past few months and really made a difference / I tried APS and standard mode for TV and it was good with volume around 15 some tv shows on the old old gameshow network put on cinema to hear it betterbut for most park just use Cinema it works better then it did on RG where it seemed voices were always drowned out but very impressed with bar/ the sub is far better / the bar is a lot smaller but packs a punch/ only thing I didnt like is it went back to mesh grills / I just hope that LG doesnt wait months and months for firmware like they did for the RG model. I did stream music from Amazon and seemed good and did have firmware update right out of the box so home this is good sign once LG gets more feed back.
